Relevance Server
Wireless communications has enabled a new generation of information services, which can reach employees and members of the public who are located away from the office or home. However, the constantly increasing amount of data presents a problem. Whilst this growth offers enormous advantages for those who are able to harness it, it has also led to an inevitable dilution in the quality and the applicability of that information to any particular individual. Many people have reached a point of "information overload" - they don't have enough time to process the available information in order to extract value.
Sirenic Relevance Server offers a solution. Whereas a standard mobile solution typically consists of tiers, such as Device Access, Transport, Security and Applications, Sirenic Relevance Server adds an extra tier - Relevance Management.
Relevance Management helps users extract value from the information available by:
- Dynamically analysing the available information to identify it's importance to each user, based on their interests, previous usage and current context.
- Categorising and prioritising the information, based on the characteristics
of the data such as categorisation, age and change from the norm.
- Providing a single summary of the most important information.
- Identifying related information across applications.
- Offering a contextual search facility across applications.
